Group 1: The intervention group receives a special set of manual therapy techniques (MT) aimed at restoring the shear mobility of the lumbar myofascial tissues. For example, MT is applied as follows:

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Lying prone must be possible for 15 minutes without pain.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Previous mental illnesses, operations in the last three months, acute inflammations or general contraindications to laser or manual therapy.

| First, the anthropometric data, age, gender, height and weight are collected by the test manager. Before the measurements, the test subjects are given information regarding the implementation of the interventions and measurements. First, the initial measurement (baseline) is carried out. This is followed by a HILT, MT or sham treatment in the prone position on a treatment couch. This is followed by the post-interventional measurements. 1 Stiffness The stiffness (deformation stiffness of the tissue) of the lumbar tissue is determined using myotonography or indentography. Here, a measuring sensor is inserted a few millimeters into the tissue without causing any pain. Electronic force sensors determine the stiffness. 2 Fascia deformation The fascia deformation of the TLF is determined using dynamic ultrasound. Here, the test subjects perform a trunk extension, during which a distance is measured at the intersection point of the latissimus dorsi muscle and the TLF against an artificial reference (reflective tape). The percentage deformability of the TLF can be determined from the difference between the flexed and extended position. 3 Tensiomyography In tensiomyography, the radial displacement of the muscle belly of the erector spinae muscle is measured after electrical stimulation. Changes in this parameter allow conclusions to be drawn about the myofascial stiffness, especially of the muscular tissue. 4 Shear wave elastography Using shear wave elastography, a quantitative measurement of tissue hardening can be measured even in a small tissue sample. The speed of the shear wave transmission is processed electronically during an ultrasound examination and the elastic modulus is calculated in KPa. 5 Thermography When measuring temperature using thermography, temperature ranges from -20° Celsius to 400° Celsius are recorded.
