Group 1: Patients with planned kidney biopsy due to unclear kidney disease: A single sample of 100 ml midstream urine will be collected for the study. Patients will receive a urine cup for this purpos

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Planned native kidney biopsy for unclear kidney disease Spontaneous urine output of at least 20 ml present

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Kidney transplantation Urinary tract infection Macrohematuria Menstruation
