Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - presentation to emergency department (Klinikum Oldenburg or the Evangelisches Krankenhaus) after a fall - discharged within 72h - informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - life expectancy of less than 3 months - unstable medical, neurological or psychiatric condition - bedridden or being unable to walk without support of another person - patients, who are not able to walk without the support of another person (the use of walking aids are not an exclusion criterion, if they can be used independently - residence more than 40 km away from the research center - acute palliative care or terminal illness - social aggression or history of psychosis - inability to communicate verbally - inability to communicate in German or English, if no contact person is available in the emergency department and the home of the participant to translate

| Secondary outcomes include comparing falls per activity and the stratification of individuals with the historical controls from the study SeFallED.
