Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) -Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR) -Sufficiently good knowledge of the German language, as the neuropsychological tests are language-dependent. -Capable of giving informed consent -Written consent from
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -Preoperative psychiatric and neurological conditions (dementia, depression, stroke) with acute symptoms that could affect neuropsychological testing -Re-operation -Emergency surgery -Pacemaker -Acute medical treatment for a heart-related condition within the last 3 months (stent, TAVI, heart attack, myocarditis…)
