Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Autism spectrum disorder (ICD10: F84.0; F84.5) IQ > 85 Basic knowledge of mobile phone usage Access to a mobile phone Internet access

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: IQ <85 Illiteracy Participant has been diagnosed with psychosis, organic brain disorder or addiction in the past Lack of access to a mobile phone Lack of Internet access Lack of ability to consent

MeasureTime frame
The primary objectives of this study are: - To assess whether patients with ASD show different social activity patterns assessed via passive smartphone monitoring before, during, after using the SAM-App as compared to the start of the study - To assess whether self-reported stress management skills in patients with ASD correlate with data from passive monitoring - To assess whether and how the activity patterns change over the course of the study - To assess whether and how information about stress level be derived based on movement and activity patterns

MeasureTime frame
The secondary objectives of this study are: - To assess changes in mental well-being, self-efficacy, perceived stress, and the ability to cope with stress over the course of the study using established psychological questionnaires - To assess whether potential changes while using SAM will be sustained afterwards.
