Interventions

Group 1: Children aged 1-4 who were breastfed for less than 12 months will be examined during their annual dental check-up, with findings recorded and early childhood caries (ECC) and treatment needs

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Sufficient cooperation for an intraoral examination - Completed consent form from parents/legal guardian - Assignment to one of the two groups: breastfed for up to 1 year or breastfed for longer than 1 year

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Study participants who do not meet the criteria listed under "Inclusion Criteria"

- ECC after one year, 2 years - The need for treatment under general anesthesia with intubation at the time of the initial examination, after one year, and after two years. - The dmft/dmfs index (decayed, missing, filled teeth/surfaces) at the time of the initial examination, after one year, and after two years.
