Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - age of 18 - 29 years (group 1) or 65+ years (group b) - able to walk for 200 meters - able to carry a load of 4 kg in one hand

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - neurologic diseases or lowered sensitivity at the extremities - Wounds or acute inflammation of the skin on the hand or back - acute injuries - eye diseases with an impaired eyesight that cannot be corrected - surgeries at any extremities in the last 12 months - limited ability to follow the instructions (e.g. cognitive impairment, hearing impairment, insufficient ability to understand German)

Outcomes for changes in posture during asymmetrical load: 1) Changes in Center of Pressure (COP) (DIERS pedoscan, DIERS International GmbH, Schlangenbad, Germany) 2) Changes in Pelvis positioning (DIERS Formetric 4D, DIERS International GmbH, Schlangenbad, Germany) 3) changes of all outcomes (primary and secondary) in relation to extent and duration of the asymmetrical load Outcomes for dynamic changes during asymmetrical load: 1) Deviation between C7 and Sacrum during asymmetrical loads in frontal plane during walking in self-selected gait speed (myoMotion, Noraxon, Scottsdale, Arizona). 2) Changes in Pelvis positioning (myoMotion, Noraxon, Scottsdale, Arizona) 3) changes in gait parameters (Zebris Messplattform FDM 1.5, zebris Medical GmbH, Isny, Germany) a) Gait speed b) Cadence c) Step length right and left d) COP in one-leg- and two-leg-stance e) duration of one-leg- and two-leg-stance f) Symmetry of COP of both legs g) changes of all dynamic outcomes in relation to extent and duration of the asymmetrical load Other measurements: a) sociodemographic data (Age, Sex, Height, Weight, sports activities, degenerative diseases, Falls in the last 6 months, fear of falling, Injuries while walking) b) measurements of core strength according to the Federal Office for Sports, Swiss (Bundesamt für Sport BASPO. Manual Leistungsdiagnostik: swiss olympic 2016:60–63.) The tests evaluate the following muscle groups: - core flexors - core extensors (back muscles) - lateral core muscles For all tests, subjects will take a position in which the target muscles are activated. The position will be hold until aborted and time in seconds will be noted.
