Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients above 18 years old undergoing Trans Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) due to Aortic Stenosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous known renal artery disease (renal artery stenosis, occlusion or renal artery/vein thrombosis). 2. Renal transplant recipient. 3. Chronic liver disease. 4. Chronic Kidney Disease ( CKD ) with preoperative GFR < 15 or on Dialysis. 5. Patients with missing Data like Preoperative and Postoperative Ultrasound or Laboratory Data.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
AKI based on the Valve Academic Research Consortium-3 (VARC-3), which closely follows the KDIGO criteria (stages 1 to 3)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Association of individual components of VEXUS Score with Renal Outcome. 2. Association of Ultrasound markers of Venous Congestion with Doppler based renal resistive index (RRI) in Trans Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) patients. 3. Association of Ultrasound markers of Venous Congestion and echocardiographic evaluation of the right heart function.
