Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in-hospital cardiac arrest

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Insuffienct data for the primary endpoint

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Survival to hospital discharge, as assessed by the treating physician. This is entered in the resuscitation registry

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. incidence of out-of-hospital and in-hospital cardiac arrest in elderly patients 2. survival of the intensive care unit stay 3. survival of hospitalisation with good neurological outcome (CPC 1/2) 4. frequency of ROSC in the different age groups 5. survival depending on the initial rhythm
