Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with neurogenic and idiopathic scoliosis will be included in the study. In the case of idiopathic scoliosis, patients will be included until growth is complete. In the case of neurogenic scoliosis, observation times are necessary beyond the completion of growth.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with scoliosis due to age-related degenerative changes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The 3D-body scan is performed at every clinical examination (every 3 to 6 months) until growth is complete. The aim is to use the non-invasive analysis methods of the 3D-body scanner to reduce the need for X-rays of the spine due to radiation exposure.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Measurement and analysis of idiopathic and neurogenic scoliosis with a 3D body scanner. The aim of this research project is to develop non-invasive methods using a 3D body scanner to monitor the progression of so-called idiopathic and neurogenic scoliosis in patients with cerebral palsy without the use of ionizing radiation, which is unavoidable with X-rays.
