Group 1: During brain tumour resection, OCT images of a localisation in the brain (functional area, representation of the change in blood flow) are taken with the aid of FiOCT after peripheral muscle

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consenting patients > 18 years of age with brain tumours in the vicinity of functional areas who have consented to tumour resection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnancy, breastfeeding, awake operations, epilepsy as an underlying disease, pacemaker, cochlear implant, known coagulation disorders

MeasureTime frame
The objective of this study is to assess the feasibility of the FiOCT method.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
In addition to evaluating the measurement procedure (accuracy, quality of image display), technical problems with in vivo measurements are to be researched and, if possible, minimised by making adjustments to data acquisition with regard to image display and quality
