Group 1: Intervention Group:
- Preoperatively: counting the chest hair per 1cm²
- Intraoperatively: glove change, skin margin disinfection with iodine, skin margin coverage with two absorption pads

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - partial or total sternotomy - first cardiac surgery and sternotomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - other surgical access than median sternotomy - re-operation - skin diseases or infection on the chest, - endocarditis - immunosuppression - other antibiotic treatment than the routine antibiotic prophylaxis (Cefuroxime 1,5g) - iodine allergy - aortic surgery - surgery in hypothermic cardiac arrest
