Participants with an official diagnosis of depression (unipolar and bipolar) according to ICD10 as well as participants without an official diagnosis but with depressive symptoms (DESC II score between 12 and 26) were analysed.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Reported depressive symptoms (either official diagnosis of unipolar or bipolar depression or self-observed depressive symptoms)- a score between 12 and 26 on the DESC II - Perceived deficits in social cognition/social interactions - German language skills - Access to a computer/ laptop with camera, microphone and internet connection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Suicidal thoughts or behaviour - History of psychotic symptoms - Current drug or alcohol addiction - Neurological disorders

The following course of the study: pre-diagnostics, implementation of the therapy, post-diagnostics Primary endpoint: assessment of feasibility using a self-developed questionnaire with three scales (feasibility, acceptance, content) at post-diagnostics after the therapy has been carried out
