Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Clinically indicated transcatheter valve intervention due to severe aortic valve stenosis, severe mitral valve regurgitation, or at least moderate to severe tricuspid valve regurgitation; Sufficient cognitive ability to complete the questionnaires with assistance; Ability for a telephone 6-week follow-up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Any condition of impaired cognition that restricts the independent completion of questionnaires or the ability to report current symptoms; Other conditions that make adequate patient information or consent to participate in the study impossible; Valvuloplasty without planned valve implantation; Interventional mitral or tricuspid valve replacement; Other rare, interventionally treatable valve diseases (aortic valve regurgitation, mitral valve stenosis, tricuspid valve stenosis); Inability to conduct a telephone follow-up six weeks after the valve intervention.

| The aim of this prospective study is the questionnaire-based exploratory analysis of the patients' primary priorities before the planned and clinically indicated valve intervention. During a telephone follow-up after 6 weeks, it will be assessed to what extent these expectations were met by the procedure. The hypothesis is that the patients' primary wish is focused on improving their quality of life, whereas the central medical-scientific objective is often to improve patient mortality. | — |
