Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Chronically dialysis-dependent patients (hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis) who underwent heart surgery using a heart lung machine (HLM) between 2006 and 2022.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who did not have chronic dialysis dependence before the heart surgery. Patients who were operated without the use of a heart lung machine.

Risk factors for 30-day postoperative mortality.

MeasureTime frame
Risk factors for long term survival. Short and long term outcomes regarding morbidity and quality of life following cardiac surgery in dialysis dependant patients. Influence of minimal invasive extracorporeal circuits (MiECC) on short and long term outcomes.
