Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Radiology, Med I or neuroradiology employees who wore both a live dosimeter and an OSL dosimeter during the intervention, in addition to the officially registered personal dosimeter. - Disposal of the specialist knowledge in radiation protection required in the respective professional group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Failure to wear a live dosimeter - Failure to wear an OSL dosimeter (in addition to the officially registered personal dosimeter) Not wearing an eye lens dosimeter is not an exclusion criterion, since in this case no eye lens dose of the person concerned was recorded, but the measured whole-body dose was still used as part of the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
- Determination of the whole-body dose in real-time and using OSL dosimeters, as well as the eye lens dose for different groups of medical personnel involved in the intervention. - Comparison of these values with the patient dose data from the legally required dose protocol, as well as with other parameters of the intervention (e.g., fluoroscopy time and number of images). - Investigation of the influence of the device type on the radiation exposure of the personnel, especially regarding the difference between older and newer devices. - Evaluation of the radiation protection measures used, as well as the optimization of work procedures with regard to dose reduction for the personnel, incorporating live dosimetry

- Investigation of the dependency of personnel dose exposure on the type of intervention - Determination of radiation exposure during interventions depending on the medical specialty (neuroradiology, general radiology) - Determination of radiation exposure based on the availability of radiation protection devices in different departments - Determination of radiation exposure during the dedicated application of pediatric examination protocols
