Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increasing the proportion of patients of Turkish origin presenting at the University Cancer Center Hamburg (UCC Hamburg) from approx. 1% to 4%. The number of patients with a Turkish migration background at the University Cancer Center Hamburg (UCC Hamburg) is assessed at regular intervals. As part of this analysis, we examine how many Turkish-speaking patients have utilized the various consultation services at UCC Hamburg. Methodology: Prior to the introduction of the patient navigation consultation, an initial cross-sectional survey was conducted. This survey will be repeated at defined intervals throughout the project to enable a pre-post comparison. The final evaluation of key outcomes will be carried out as part of the project's final work package (Work Package 4).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Assessing the needs of patients, practitioners and experts based on focus groups and interviews as well as satisfaction with the care structure (gesa-K) and collection of a data basis for the development of a training and information program for the training of Turkish-speaking onco guides. Necessary conditions and structures for an effective onco guiding model in everyday clinical practice.
