Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 22nd week of pregnancy = 18 years old BMI = 40 kg/m² Single pregnancy Declaration of consent Consent to use the app own a smartphone and be able to use the app independently sufficiently good German language and reading skills to understand the content of the questionnaires and the Beiwe app GDM diagnosis (only for one group)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: previous diagnosis of diabetes severe pregnancy complications (e.g. heart or chronic kidney disease, current use of medication that may affect glucose tolerance, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, severe psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, HIV) Participation in psychotherapy or other psychological intervention History of intellectual disability or cognitive disease Pregnancy with embryonic developmental disorders Impaired physical mobility

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1) testing the acceptance and long-term usability of the BEIWE app during pregnancy

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
2) the characterization of daily physical mobility activity and other digital phenotypes (e.g., daily screen use and social interactions) during pregnancy, 3) the description of differences in physical mobility and other digital phenotypes in women with and without diabetes, and 4) the development of potential models for prospective prediction of birth mode, depressive episodes, stress and anxiety symptoms, and quality of life.
