Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy subjects aged 18-80 years Untreated stage III periodontitis Non-smokers No inflammatory oral mucosal diseases = 14 teeth at the time of the periodontal examination No vitamin D supplementation in the last 6 months
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Periodontal treatment in the last six months Known or ongoing abuse of drugs, medication, or alcohol , Pregnancy , Impaired kidney function, type 1 or type 2 diabetes, liver diseases, cardiovascular diseases, Vitamin D intake
