Group 1: Bariatric surgery patients Patients are surveyed digitally four weeks before their bariatric surgery and two weeks, five weeks, three months, six months, twelve months, 18 months, 24 months

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: BMI>35 Internet-capable device Seeking bariatric surgery Written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: BMI<35 Insufficient knowledge of the German language Re-intervention (patient has already undergone bariatric surgery before)

Percentage total weight loss: %TWL = [(weight before surgery -weight after surgery) / (weight before surgery)]×100 24 months after surgery
