18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Manifest type 2 diabetes, stable type 2 diabetes controlled with medication (>3 months)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal of consent, unstable type 2 diabetes, risk of metabolic derailment, active malignant diseases in the last 5 years, any chronic inflammatory disease of the intestine (e.g. Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis)

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Evidence of an association of exercise behavior with the occurrence of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease in type 2 diabetes.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Correlation with parameters of liver function and glucose and lipid metabolism, the concentration of metabolites and cytokines associated with fatty liver disease in the blood and stool, parameters of the intestinal microbiome and bile acid balance, as well as psychosocial correlation in everyday life in connection with exercise behavior.
