Primary

MeasureTime frame
Maximum strength in squat, bench press, deadlift, squat jump and counter movement jump are measured according to the NSCA guidelines (Miller et al. 2012) in the morning from 7.00-11.00 am. After a 5-minute individual general warm-up, at least 3 warm-up sets are performed in the squat. The weight is systematically increased. This is followed by 4-6 maximum strength tests. There is a break of 2-4 minutes between the individual sets. All participants have previously received a standardised breakfast (1g oatmeal, 1 banana and 1 teaspoon of honey). The participants arrive rested and without any symptoms of illness.
