Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with legal capacity who receive a diagnosis of a functional neurological disorder and consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Underage patients and patients with a lack of legal capacity, acute suicidal tendencies, psychotic symptoms, severe affective or anxiety disorders, severe personality disorders, severe hyperkinetic movement disorders or very frequent dissociative seizures are not included.

Recruitment, attendance and drop-out rate Following the implementation of the MBSR programme, the following parameters are calculated based on the documentation of the invited patients, the patients who have consentend to participate in the study and the participant lists of the individual MBSR programme sessions: Recruitment rate: number of patients registering for the study in relation to the total number of patients approached who fulfil the inclusion criteria. Attendance rate: Average attendance rate of registered patients at the MBSR sessions of the MBSR programme. Dropout rate: Percentage of enrolled patients who discontinue participation in the 8-week MBSR programme prematurely.

Overall satisfaction with the programme, user-friendliness, self-reported practice times / compliance with homework, qualitative feedback from participants, health-related quality of life (WHODAS 2), severity of anxiety and depressive symptoms (GAD-7, PHQ-9) and functional symptoms (FNSQ), work and social adjustment (ASAS), self-efficacy (SWOP-K9), illness assumptions (IPQ-R), emotion regulation (ERQ)
