Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Indication for robot-assisted esophageal resection with gastric pull-up and intrathoracic circular end-to-side anastomosis, esophageal carcinoma/cardiac carcinoma (AEG type 1 and 2), patient with or without prior neoadjuvant therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Person not capable of giving consent, pregnant/breastfeeding person, conversion during the surgery, malfunction of the stapler
