Group 1: Patients with primary Sjögren´s disease are once asked to fill out a standardized questionnaire, laboratory parameters to quantify the exocrine function of the pancreas will once be determine

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Included are patients with Sjögren´s disease, rheumatoid arthritis and a control group without an underlying rheumatological disease that are connected to Hannover Medical School or to a cooperating rheumatological practice and do not meet the exclusion criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Excluded are all patients wich are already diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, acute or chronic pancreatitis, alcohol abuse, cystic fibrosis and further systemic autoimmune diseases. Patients who are incapable of giving consent and patients who have undergone (partial) pancreatic resection are excluded as well.
