Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of Alzheimer´s disease (AD), Parkinson’s disease (PD), vascular cognitive impairment (VCI) according to current national and international diagnostic criteria guidelines (S3 Demenz Leitlinien)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Inability to consent based on severity of cognitive impairment, as defined by a stage of moderate to severe dementia, defined by a Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) total score >=2, according to clinical records. For the healthy (neurotypical) control group: history of past or current neurological or major psychiatric disorder, severe traumatic brain injury, alcohol or drug abuse.

MeasureTime frame
Use of automatically extracted natural language processing (NLP)-derived features from spontaneous speech to recognise cognitive impairment associated with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRDs).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Characterise ADRDs using language features that differ significantly from those of neurotypical populations.
