Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -elective and urgent cardiac surgery -evidence of cerebral perfusion deficit detected by doppler sonography and CT perfusion scan during standard preoperative diagnostic

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - lack of consent - complex aortic surgery in circulatory arrest - emergency cases
