Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with thermal injuries. Admission to the BGKH Center for Severe Burns Patients during the defined period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN). Did not receive PTSD screening. History of PTSD.

MeasureTime frame
Identification of potential risk factors for the manifestation of PTSD in patients with thermal injuries from the literature.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The potential risk factors from the literature are then examined in a retrospective case-control study in the population of burn patients at the BG Klinikum Hamburg.
