Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - capable of giving consent or consent by patient representative additionally for subject group 1.: - long-term use of 5 or more non-antibiotic medications (home medication) additionally for subject group 2: - long-term use of 5 or more non-antibiotic medications (home medication) and current intake of at least one antibiotic
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Acute cancer - Diagnosis of other diseases or conditions that are associated with changes in the intestinal microbiota, e.g. chronic inflammatory bowel disease, artificial bowel outlet (stoma), current diarrhea - Use of antibiotics in the last 3 months before recruitment additionally for subject group 3: - acute illness or inpatient treatment in hospital - Permanent intake of more than 2 medications (home medication) additionally for subject group 4: - Permanent intake of more than 2 medications (home medication)
