Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Oncological diagnosis German as native language or very good knowledge of German Written consent to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Psychiatric disorders: Psychotic disorder ICD-11: F2 diagnosis; Substance dependence or abuse ICD-11: F1 diagnosis) Insufficient knowledge of German Severe psychiatric comorbidity Lack of written informed consent for Participation in the study

MeasureTime frame
Measurement of suicidal ideation, stress factors and symptoms using the following instruments - Suicidal ideation measured with BDI item 9 (Suicidality item of the Beck Depression Inventory), PSS (Paykel Suicide Scale), suicidal item of the PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire), and BSS (Beck Suicidal Ideation Scale). - Demoralization as measured by the DS-II (Demoralization Scale-II) - Perceived Control measured by the LAP-R (Life Attitude Profile-Revised) Choice Responsibility - Distress measured by the FBK-R10 (Cancer Patient Distress Questionnaire-Revised) - Anxiety symptoms as measured by the GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale) - Depression symptoms as measured by the PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire) In addition, the functions, subjective meaning, and causes of suicidal ideation will be described qualitatively using semi-structured interviews. The following constructs will be assessed exploratively - Health-related quality of life with the FACT-G (Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy - General) - Traumatic childhood experiences with the CTS (Childhood Trauma Screener) - Personality structure with the OPD-SFK (OPD Structure Questionnaire Short Form) All parameters are collected at a single point in time.
