Group 1: dental casts following MAD therapy

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Polysomnographic examination (PSG) for the diagnosis of OSA, - PSG or PG to check the effectiveness of the UPS after titration in accordance with the S3 guideline for SBAS (Riemann 2017), - Therapy with an individual, titratable bimaxillary MAD

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - lack of consent from the patient, - central sleep apnea or other coexisting sleep disorders, - Patients who are not considered suitable for MAD therapy due to localized problems such as caries, weakened dentition, periodontitis and limited jaw opening, - Patients with craniomandibular dysfunction complaints, - lack of compliance (use of the MAD in < 50% of nights).
