Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligibility criteria for the non-clinical sample were (1) being aged = 18 years, (2) informed consent for study participation, (3) sufficient German skills to comply with study requirements, and (4) not having participated in psychotherapeutic or psychiatric treatment in the six months prior to screening nor having been psychiatrically diagnosed within this same period of time. The main inclusion criterion for the clinical sample was having been diagnosed with a mental disorder by a qualified assessor (i.e., psychiatrists or licensed psychotherapists). As with the non-clinical participants, eligibility criteria were age of 18 years or more, provision of consent, and sufficient German skills to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Underage participates, insufficient language skills and not having participated in psychotherapeutic or psychiatric treatment in the six months prior to screening nor having been psychiatrically diagnosed within this same period of time.
