Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Health insurance data (person-related) - Minimum age of illness 18 years - AOK insured with minimum insurance duration > 350 days/year with residence in Germany within the observation period (2010-2022) or until death according to ICD-10 GM incidentally diagnosed colorectal carcinoma, i.e. diagnosis in the period from 2012-2022 with tumor freedom in the latency phase 2010-2011 CCR data - Registration in the CCR within the observation period with tumor diagnosed incidentally according to ICD-10 GM (ICD-10: C18-C20). As the cancer registries explicitly record the information as to whether the disease is new, no latency phase with no tumor is taken into account here. - Minimum age of onset 18 years DKG data (calendar data certification) - In this project, the DKG provides certification-relevant data in addition to the OnkoZert data. This includes information on the certified centers, such as case numbers, date of certification, etc. - In this project, the individual case data of the participating colorectal cancer centers of colorectal primary case patients are made available for further use. - Only data that is consistently documented by the colorectal cancer centers in a tumor documentation system (TDS) can be retrieved. The actual - The actual number of cases to be expected therefore depends on the willingness of the colorectal cancer centers to participate in the data delivery. CCC/DKTK data - The technology infrastructure of the Clinical Communication Platform (CCP) of the German Consortium for Translational Cancer Research (DKTK) collects diagnosis-, biospecimen-, progression- and therapy-related data from cancer patients and makes it available for research purposes. - Three DKTK sites (Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt) are covered by the catchment area of the cancer registries participating in OnkoFDZ: Berlin-Brandenburg, Saxony and Hesse. Within the framework of OnkoFDZ, with the involvement of local clinical partners, the aim is to apply for corresponding data for patients with colorectal carcinomas (ICD-10: C18-C20) and to make it usable with regard to the research questions focused on in the project context.
