Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Written declaration of consent ? Elective surgical or diagnostic procedure under combined general and epidural anesthesia in abdominal and visceral surgery and urology

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Pre-existing arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, grade II and III AV block - Pacemaker therapy - Drug abuse (narcotics) or opiate habit - Pregnancy and breastfeeding - Chronic pain syndrome and pain therapy - Severe PAD (grade IV) - Simultaneous participation in another study that influences the outcome parameters
