Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients filling out the agreement to participate in the studies. Furthermore, the patients have at least average German skills to understand the questionnaire. It is in the informing doctor’s responsibility to decide whether the patient can understand the questions or not. Patients who were undergoing surgery in the departments of maxillofacial surgery, trauma surgery, general surgery, cardiac and thoracic surgery, and the surgical departments of urology, orthopaedics, ENT.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: To reduce the confounding effect of surgery, all sex-related surgeries were excluded, including surgeries of primary and secondary sexual organs. Patients not willing to fill out the post-surgery QoR-15Dt, patients aged under 18, emergency surgeries and patients who were already discharged prior to the first day after surgery.
