Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Sufficient understanding of the German language Informed consent to the study by the legal guardians and by the participants themselves Age between 8 – 18 years Diagnosis of ADHD (F90.0) or hyperkinetic conduct disorder (F90.1) Right-handedness

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: IQ < 70 Contraindications for transcranial or repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation: implanted ferromagnetic material in the head area, e.g., cochlear implant, history of head trauma, implanted pacemakers, and implanted pumps Prematurity before the 32nd week of gestation Psychotropic medication, except methylphenidate or lisdexamfetamine Other psychiatric disorders than those mentioned above Hearing impairment Pregnancy and breastfeeding Epilepsy and epilepsy in first-degree relatives, as well as febrile seizures in childhood History of head trauma
