Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of spastic CP [unilateral, bilateral] GMFCS Level I-III, ability to walk with or without aids Age: 7- 18 years Sufficient cognitive capacity: Understanding of intervention instructions: Counting to 10 and performing the verbal movement task, single leg stance

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cardiopulmonary diseases GMFCS Level IV-V Medication: - Dosage change of oral baclofen within the last week - Local botulinum toxin treatment of the calf within the last three months Surgery on the lower extremity: - Soft tissue surgery within the last three months - Operations with bony involvement within the last six months - Structural contractures of the upper ankle joint: range of motion in dorsiflexion/flexion from 0° - 5° - 40°with the knee flexed

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The passive range of motion and tardieu of the upper ankle joint, the 10 meter walk test and the timed up and go test before the intervention (T1) and directly after the intervention (T2) are recorded.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The passive range of motion and tardieu of the upper ankle joint, the 10 meter walk test and the timed up and go test one hour after the intervention (T3) are recorded.
