Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A 3-4 mm skin punch is extracted from tissue from surgical resectates after removal. This is handed over to the employees of Histolution GmbH. The samples are stained in the Histolution GmbH laboratory and then scanned with the MPM. The skin punches are then sent to the pathology laboratory for routine diagnostics. The scanned images are then examined by one or more pathologists and compared to the routine histological diagnosis.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Staining time, type of dyes used, laser power, exposure time, amplification of the detectors, scaling of the values in the subsequent image
