Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Written consent to participate in the study, capacity to consent Additionally for patients: Medically justifiable indication provided by the attending physician for radiological diagnostics/intervention for elective endovascular procedures Additionally for staff: Proper application of the usual radiation protection measures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Under 18 years of age, discontinuation/refusal of radiological examination, lack of written consent from the patient, pregnancy, emergency endovascular interventions, autoimmune diseases

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Specific acute DNA repair markers, more precisely the activity determination of the y-H2A.X histone protein, are to be examined after radiation exposure. The investigated markers of the blood samples before and after radiation exposure will be compared.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is assumed that both the activity of ?-H2A.X and chronic chromosomal changes (e.g. dicentric chromosomes or chromosome translocations) correlate with the radiation dose.
