Inclusion criteria: - Active as a professional soccer player (professionals, U23, junior performance center) - Age of majority (=18 years) or consent of a parent or legal guardian

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Not active as a professional soccer player

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The aim of this exploratory study is to use the changes in biochemical signaling molecules in professional soccer players during the preparation and competition season to derive individually tailored, data-based recommendations for action to improve performance and recovery and to reduce injuries.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Combined analysis of multi-omics profiles and external load parameters will be used to derive individually tailored, data-supported recommendations for action to optimize performance and recovery in professional soccer players.
