Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: neck pain for 3 months or longer grade 1 neck pain: no signs of major pathology and little interference with daily activities grade 2 neck pain: no signs of major pathology but may impact daily activities neck pain which can be reproduced by neck rotation or neck extension sign a written informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: vertigo, dizziness,, vertebrobasilar insufficiency, migraine headaches, history of neck trauma or surgery, neurological disorders, difficulties understanding instructions, difficulties adopting the required posture on the devices

The extent of pain at three time points, the pressure pain threshold in the shoulder-neck area (M. trapezius), the range of motion of the cervical spine in flexion, extension, rotation, and lateral flexion, the accuracy of angle reproduction of the cervical spine, the maximum strength of the cervical spine retraction, the muscular endurance of the deep neck flexors, and the dynamic balance of the lower extremity

he extent of the pressure pain threshold in the lower leg area (M. tibialis anterior), the scores achieved in the questionnaires (NDI = Neck Disability Index; CSI = Central Sensitization Inventory; FABQ = Fear Avoidance Belief Questionnaire), as well as the evaluation of anthropometric and demographic data from the custom-designed questionnaire
