Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Consent to participate in the study - Planned (partial) lung resection due to central lung tumour or tumour in the upper lobe; transplantation or pneumothorax

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - No consent to participate in the study or unable to give consent - Pneumonia

Primary

MeasureTime frame
No autcomes for patients. Primary endpoints in vitro: - Release of IL-8 as indicator of the strength of the inflammatory response (target 1 and 3) - 2D migration speed; cell size; proliferation/apoptosis rate (target 2)
