The aim is to promote physical fitness and everyday skills in nursing home residents with and without dementia.

Group 1: Care-guided physical activation program for seniors with and without dementia in a retirement home using exergames (e.g. Dividat(R) and Lumoplay (R)) - 4 times a week for 15 minutes per trai

Inclusion criteria: Understand simple training instructions Be able to walk at least 3 meters with support

- Physical fitness upper extremity (measured by the Short Physical Performance Battery) - Gross coordination upper limb (measured by Box and Block Test) - Fine hand coordination (measured by Nine Hole Peg Test) - Hand strength (measured by hand dynamometer) t0: before the start of the intervention t1: after 6 weeks t2: after 16 weeks
