Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Primary goal: Determine the impact of the presented scenario from different perspectives (unmodulated vs. egocentric, unmodulated vs. allocentric) on the number of related intrusive memories over the course of one week. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Secondary goals: Detection of intensity and various emotional modalities of intrusions and correlation with vegetative parameters that occur during the presentation of the scenario. Furthermore, the effect of an allocentric intervention following the unchanged or egocentric presentation of the scenario on intrusive memories is examined (unmodulated vs. unmodulated + allocentric intervention, egocentric vs. egocentric+allocentric intervention, primary and secondary goals as above). The allocentric intervention shows the whole scenario from the allocentric perspective. In addition, after explicit consent, genetic and epigenetic data from the participants can be included in the evaluation, which may be collected via further studies. | — |
