Group 1: 100 patients who are treated as inpatients in the Clinic and Polyclinic for Cardiology and require treatment either as a primary admission diagnosis or secondarily for a urinary tract infecti

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age =18 years Diagnosis of an uncomplicated urinary tract infection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindications to all first-line therapeutic agents for uncomplicated urinary tract infections Pregnancy and breastfeeding Lack of capacity to consent Length of stay in the hospital probably <72 h
