Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age =18 years Diagnosis of an uncomplicated urinary tract infection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindications to all first-line therapeutic agents for uncomplicated urinary tract infections Pregnancy and breastfeeding Lack of capacity to consent Length of stay in the hospital probably <72 h

Quantification of the change in measurable parameters in the blood, particularly in relation to the inflammasome and systemic inflammation
