Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Only inclusion of white Europeans to initially determine genetic changes within a specific ethnic group.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Infections, necrosis of the femoral head, disorders of bone metabolism, rheumatoid arthritis or other inflammatory arthritis, post-traumatic osteoarthritis, treatment with bisphosphonates, lupus, gout, pregnancy
