Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The donor collective consists of patients scheduled for liposuction at Caritas Hospital St. Josef, who agree to participate in the study and are between 18 and 70 years of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: To be excluded are patients with a malignant underlying condition, diagnosed with an (unhealed) blood-borne infection, or presenting an acute infection in the donor tissue.

MeasureTime frame
Detection of the microbiome of subcutaneous physiological adipose tissue by inoculating aerobic and anaerobic blood culture bottles, followed by incubation and evaluation using MALDI-TOF, and comparison with the microbiome from skin punch biopsies.
