Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who have undergone endovascular peripheral intervention (EPI) using digital (subtraction) angiography or digital variance angiography (DVA) of the lower extremity (femoral, popliteal, cruro-pedal and iliac arteries) at the University Heart Center Freiburg-Bad Krozingen (Bad Krozingen site).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients for whom DVA could not be performed due to motion artifacts in the image acquisition, no or partly utilized low dose protocols, or occasional CO2 acquisitions.

Significant reduction in radiation exposure in catheter-based EPI of lower extremities with DVA.

Increase in image quality of digital subtraction angiography (DSA) using DVA.
