Group 1: Orthodontic patients (= 16 years of age) wearing a multibracket appliance which is removed on the day of study participation

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Multibracket appliance in the mandible for at least 3 months - Metal bands on teeth 36,46 or 37,47 (if 36,46 not existent) - Metal brackets on all other teeth mesial of them

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Restauration(s) in the mandible in metallic colour - Extractions or aplasia of permanent teeth in case of space(s) = 2 mm

Accuracy of the digital clinical procedure and the conventional clinical procedure with multibracket appliance in situ

1) Total duration of the digital and the conventional procedure, respectively 2) Influence of the multibracket appliance on the transfer accuracy of the digital impression 3) Transfer accuracy of the digital impressions without multibracket appliance in comparison to the conventional impression as gold standard 4) Comparison of the accuracy of the total digital and conventional workflows
