Group 1: Patients who have received conventional medication for dementia and additionally Helleborus niger subcutaneously Group 2: Patients who have only received conventional medication for dementia

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of dementia according to the Mini-Mental Status Examination (= 26 MMSE score) 2. Impairment of cognitive function measured with DemTect or Shulman clock test (= 12 DemTect score or Shulman clock test score =3)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Insufficient knowledge of the German language
